Old Growth Eastern White Pine (Buckfield & Searsmont, Maine) and Old Growth American Black Cherry (Allegheny State Forest, Pennslyvania) shipment.
"Your Old Growth Eastern White Pine was forested in Central Maine—the small towns of Buckfield (1793) and Searsmont (1780). The logs are sawn from timbers that are at least 100 years old having a diameter of at least 3-feet. To yield the clearest, widest boards, it's sawn from the center out from the botom of trunk (no limbs = no knots). Truthfully, maybe 1 log out of 3,000 produces clear pine that is 20-inches wide by 16-feet long." - Kelly Doody, DC Twin |
